Iron Maiden!!!
15 Feb 2011 - Iron Maiden performed in Singapore for the first time !
The skys were not very kind to us as we waited and queued to get in. It rained, stopped, rained, stopped for dunno how many fucking times. But it was all worth it when we managed to get into indoor stadium and everybody was just shouting "Maiden Maiden" !
First to perform, at exactly 8pm, was Rise To Remain.
Austin Dickinson is the vocalist for Rise To Remain. He is also the son Bruce Dickinson, the vocalist of Iron Maiden.
Rise To Remain performed for about 30mins, and it was another around 30mins of waiting when Iron Maiden finally opened the show with the first track off their new album, The Final Frontier.

When they performed 2 Minutes to Midnight, the whole Indoor Stadium basically exploded! Everyone was pushing, jumping, squeezing. And the singing by the crowd. SIMPLY FANTASTIC ! We basically sang the whole concert!
Blood Brothers, Fear Of The Dark, and the last 3 encore songs... to be honest, I nearly cried as I sang together with them. I saw 1 gal wiping away her tears. The scene was incredible. You have to be there to experience it.
The best part was when Eddie came onto the stage. If you dunno who eddie is, go wiki and search. He's an integral part of Iron Maiden.
I'm glad I went to the concert.

Notice the 2 backdrops. It's different. They really make it a point to change the backdrop to the album cover that they are gonna perform.
And the stage. It was fabulous. Really got the Final Frontier space look.
Best concert I've ever went to.
