Gold or Silver?

Finally !!! The long-awaited silver or gold medal in the Olympics !!! Singapore are in the final of the Womens Table Tennis and will face most probably China in the final. Recorded a hard fought 3-2 win over South Korea in the semi-final.

I've watched the team in the 2000 and the 2004 Olympics only to see them crash out in the semi-finals, then subsequently lost in the 3rd/4th placing match to finish 4th.

To be able to enter the finals this year is a great achievement.

Alrite ! Queens Park Rangers started their promotion pushing campaign back to the English Premier League with a comeback 2-1 win over Barnsley. Barnsley took the lead as early as the 5th minute. But of course, the impressive QPR regained the lead with 2 goals in as many minutes with Emmanuel Ledesma and Daniel Parejo looking very impressive. A good start to what I hoped a good campaign. My expectations? At least the play-offs !!! Come on you Rssssssssss!!!!!
