New toy
Finally, after so many years, I finally got a drumset of my own. The day before my birthday, I got myself a birthday present. It's not a great set, but it can be considered a good set, at least that's what I think. Got it for $850, a second hand set.
Let me introduce my new toy...The edited version of the Pearl Rhythm Traveler.
The original Rhythm Traveler costs about $700, 5 piece set with 1 hihat and 1 ride cymbal.
But my set have 2 new crash cymbals, a new hihat and a new ride cymbal and 2 extra cymbal stands and a new snare drum. The new things alone costs about $400.
Using your brain to calculate, it's not bad a deal...
1 more double pedal and the mesh muffle heads to keep out the sound when I play should complete my set...so, who's gonna sponsor me? Don't be shy ah !!! Volunteer !!!
Come 28th May, my company will be implementing the 3 crews pattern. Work 4 days, rest 2 days. Got good and bad lah, but can be better. Shift allowance only $200, a $50 increase from what we are getting now.
AC Milan, the newly crowned Champions League Winner. Good game. Liverpool played well, but Milan had the extra cutting edge. Clarence Seedorf and Massimo Oddo were outstanding. Let's hope my AS Roma will play in next year's final...and win...
Oh ya, forgot to say something important. Thanks Jon, for going down to Bishan to help me collect the drumset and then drive me home and help set up. Thanks bro !!!!!!!
