Married !!! Not me lah...

Ok...I've been delaying this one for a loooooooooooooong time...

21 Jan 2007. My sister's big day.

The night before, her siao sisters came over to our house and helped prepare the tortures that would be used the next day...and they were loud...real loud...They even asked me to try it out first. Siao bo ?!?!?!

On the actual day, my cousins came very early to help out to take pictures and videos. Wah....didn't realise that my small flat can accomodate sooooooo many people...but of cos, not enough seats to go around lah...haha, and having PS2 in my room does help, as my cousins hid in my room to play games...

The groom came around 9am to pick my sister, and after all the stupid, silly games, which locked me out from my house for 30mins, he finally entered the flat. Then they went back to the groom's place in Yishun for the tea ceremony, then come back to my place for another tea ceremony. After that, it's sleeping time for me, cos the couple went back to Yishun.

Went to the chalet...forget what time liao...and my cousins and I were supposed to help out decorate the place, but in the end, we walked for 15mins to Changi Village to makan...hahaha...so much for helping out.

Didn't eat much during the dinner, cos I was too busy taking pictures and videos. Same to my cousins. Both were sitting at the "recep" area, the others busy taking pictures. Run here, run there, run everywhere. Hahahaha.

At the end of the day, I don't know who's more tired...the couple or me...

Go Lions Go !!! Goodbye National Stadium !

Went to the National Stadium with my cousins and ex-colleague to watch the Singapore - Thailand final, and what a dramatic way to send off our dear old stadium. That place holds my secondary school memories when almost half the class would meet every alternate Saturday to watch Singapore play in the Malaysia Cup. The Kallang Roar, the Kallang Wave, the feet-stomping, the "we want goal ! we want goal !" and the "referee kayu !" chants, and of course, not forgetting my personal favourite "butoh", if that's how you spelled it, will always have a special place in my heart. Also, this is the first time and the last time that the 5 of us went together to a football match in the old National Stadium...

On my way to the stadium, I had expected to see alot of people wearing red in the MRT. Nope, that wasn't the case. But when I alighted from the train and went down to the Kallang MRT control station, I see a sea of red, macam Kallang MRT station just had her period...wahahahaha !!!

When the national anthem was being played, everyone in the stadium stood up and sang out loud. And I mean real loud. We cheered for the Singapore players when their names were being announced over the PA system, cheered when Singapore had chances, cheered when Singapore scores, and we used every vulgar language possible to fuck the opponents. The Kallang Wave kept coming and coming and coming. The only silent moment was when the penalty was about to be taken. After that, it's all chaos when the ball hit the back of the net.

Was glad that I was able to witness the last match in the National Stadium, and that final match was as drama as any TV dramas. Lead actors are the referee and the Thai coach. Stupid decisions that ruined a perfectly good game, childish behaviour coming from a supposedly well-respected old man...

Anyway, if you guys wanna know what happen at the game, go buy newspaper read lah !!! I'm not a reporter !!! Don't be lazy !!!

Singapore drew 1-1 with Thailand and won the cup on a 3-2 aggregate score !!!
