Just finished reading Pegasus Bridge. It's about the UK's Ox and Bucks's bold raid on D-Day to capture a bridge. It was amazing on how they took the bridge, caught the Germans by surprise and in the process lost only 1 lieutenant, shot in the neck. That's the 3rd Stephen Ambrose book I read, after Band of Brothers and D-Day. Comparing the training that they had and what we had during our NS, our army boys are so sissy...
My friend called me and in a very haolian voice, informed me that he finished his 10th ICT and got his cert releasing him from NS commitments. He's totally free from the army liao. The conversation...
